Here’s a little more information about our gift vouchers, which we hope you’ll find helpful. For anything else, you’ll find more details about Artist Residence on our website.


How can my gift voucher be used?

Your voucher can be redeemed against the experience it was purchased for — whether that’s a Supper & Sleepover, Getaway, breakfast, dinner, drinks or fizz.

Subject to availability, the recipient should book directly with their chosen Artist Residence and quote the unique voucher reference at the time of booking. The voucher value will then be applied to the booking in line with our standard booking terms and conditions, just like any other reservation.

For monetary vouchers, if the chosen stay or experience exceeds the value of the voucher, the difference can be settled at the time of booking.


Can I add a personal message or handwritten card?

Yes. During checkout you’ll be able to add a personal message to your gift voucher.

For the Supper & Sleepover for Two voucher, this message will be included on a handwritten card, which will be placed in the room as part of the stay. For all other vouchers, the message will appear on the voucher itself.


I need it last-minute — can I get an e-voucher?

Absolutely! Simply choose email delivery at checkout and you’ll receive the voucher PDF instantly. You can then forward it to the recipient or print it yourself. This is perfect for last-minute gifting.


Can the recipient receive the voucher on a specific day?

Yes — if you’d like the voucher to arrive on a particular date, choose one of our specified delivery options at checkout. You’ll be able to select the date you want it delivered.


Can I send multiple vouchers to the same address?

Yes — you can select separate packages for each voucher so they arrive individually, or have them delivered together.


How long is the voucher valid?

Most of our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Our Monetary Gift Voucher is valid for 24 months, giving a little extra flexibility to choose the perfect stay or experience.

The expiry date will always be clearly shown on the voucher.


Can vouchers be redeemed online?

Booking must be made directly with the chosen Artist Residence. Some experiences (like stays) cannot be fully booked online using the voucher code but the property will help you arrange the booking and redeem the voucher value when you call or email them.


What happens if the recipient needs to change their booking?

If plans change, the date or experience can be updated by getting in touch with the Artist Residence team, subject to availability. Our usual booking and cancellation terms will apply, and the voucher expiry date will remain the same unless otherwise agreed.


Can the voucher be exchanged for cash?

No — vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, are non-transferable and may only be redeemed once. Lost, expired or unused vouchers cannot be replaced.


What about food, drink or extras not included?

Anything enjoyed outside the inclusions of the voucher — such as additional drinks, extra courses or other extras added during the stay — will be payable separately.


Do you deliver physical vouchers?

Yes — you can choose postal delivery at checkout. Our physical vouchers arrive in an artist-designed, embossed presentation envelope, ready to give as a gift.

If you’re short on time, you can also choose email delivery for instant digital gifting.
